Special Trekking Tour 4 Days 3 Nghts

Day 1: Ha Giang – Heaven’s Gate – Quan Ba ​​Pass – Yen Minh – H’mong King’s Palace – Dong Van (Motorbike Tour)

On our first day, we’ll travel approximately 150 km by motorbike, with around an hour of walking included. This scenic route offers plenty of opportunities to meet the H’mong people and observe their unique culture and way of life. Along the way, we’ll take time to stop at beautiful viewpoints to enjoy the landscape and capture memorable photos.

Our journey begins with a ride up to Heaven’s Gate, located at 1,500 meters above sea level. From here, you’ll enjoy panoramic views stretching over the valleys and cloud-covered mountain peaks.

As we pass through Quan Ba, we’ll stop to admire the famous Twin Mountains (also known as Fairy Mountains)—a symbol of the region’s natural beauty. We’ll then continue to Yen Minh, where we’ll have lunch at a restaurant and take a short break.

In the afternoon, we’ll visit the historic Vuong Palace, also known as the H’mong King’s Palace, located about 15 km west of Dong Van. Built by the H’mong people for their king in the early 20th century, the palace features traditional Chinese and French architectural influences and offers insight into the royal life of the H’mong ethnic group.

We aim to arrive in Dong Van by around 5:00 PM. Once there, you’ll check in to a cozy local homestay, enjoy a delicious dinner, and have time to explore the charming town. Dong Van is a peaceful village, perfect for an evening stroll through its quiet streets and local market.

Day 2: Dong Van – Thien Huong Village – Ma Le Village – Lo Lo Chai Village – Dong Van

We’ll start the day with breakfast around 7:30 AM, then set off on a 10 km trekking adventure through some of the most culturally rich and scenic areas of the Dong Van Karst Plateau.

Our first destination is Thien Huong Village, a quiet, ancient village located about 7 km from Dong Van Town. Though it remains relatively unknown to most tourists, Thien Huong is a hidden gem. Surrounded by stunning limestone formations and traditional architecture, it’s an ideal place for those who appreciate the peaceful beauty of the highlands. With its untouched landscapes and deep cultural roots, it’s truly a paradise for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike.

After exploring Thien Huong, we’ll continue our trek to Ma Le Village, one of the oldest villages in the region. Nestled among rocky cliffs, Ma Le is known for its simple beauty and strong cultural traditions. It’s a great place to learn more about the daily life of the local ethnic communities.

From Ma Le, we’ll hop back on our motorbikes and head to Lo Lo Chai Village, home to the Lo Lo ethnic group. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to discover their colorful culture and unique architecture. We’ll also visit the Flag Tower, located near the Vietnam–China border, where you can enjoy panoramic views and take in a truly special moment standing at one of Vietnam’s northernmost points.

After that, we return to Dong Van by motorbike, where you’ll check back into your homestay and enjoy a well-deserved rest.

Day 3: Dong Van – Ma Pi Leng – Mau De – Ngoc Long – Du Gia (Motorbike Tour)

Our adventure continues with an early morning departure as we ride through the towering mountains and some of the most breathtaking landscapes in Ha Giang.

We begin the day by crossing the legendary Ma Pi Leng Pass, known as one of the most stunning roads in Vietnam. Along the way, we’ll stop at scenic viewpoints and, for those who are up for it, take a 6–7 km hike through the famous “Death Mountain” trail, walking along cornfields and mountain ridges. The trek offers sweeping views of the valley below and a true connection with the landscape.

At the end of the trail, our motorbike driver and guide will be waiting for you on the other side, and we’ll continue the ride toward Mau De, where we’ll stop for lunch and rest.

In the afternoon, we head to Ngoc Long, a peaceful riverside village. Here, you’ll enjoy a relaxing ride on a bamboo raft down the river, take a refreshing swim in the natural pool, and explore a nearby cave. We’ll spend about an hour enjoying this serene experience.

From there, we continue on to Du Gia, a beautiful valley surrounded by rice fields and hills. You’ll check in for the night at a local Tay ethnic homestay, where a homemade dinner awaits you.

 

Day 4: Du Gia – Duong Thuong – Thai An – Ha Giang (Motorbike Tour)

After enjoying a peaceful breakfast at the homestay in Du Gia, we begin our final day of the motorbike journey through the stunning mountain scenery of Ha Giang.

We’ll ride through the quiet and scenic valley of Duong Thuong, surrounded by terraced rice fields and local ethnic villages. This area offers a more off-the-beaten-path experience, where you can see the daily life of the local people and stop at a few scenic viewpoints to take in the landscape.

From there, we continue to Thai An, a small village nestled in the mountains. We’ll stop here for lunch, rest for a bit, and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere.

After lunch, we begin the final stretch of the journey back to Ha Giang City, passing through more beautiful valleys and mountain passes. Along the way, we’ll make a few short stops at waterfalls and viewpoints, perfect for a last few photos before the tour ends.

We expect to arrive in Ha Giang around 3:30 – 4:30 PM. Once back, you can return to your hotel, homestay, or our office, where you’ll have time to shower, relax, and prepare for your next destination.
