    Day 1: Ha Giang – Bac Sum Pass – Heaven Gate – Twin Mountain – Quan Ba – Yen Minh – Tham Ma Pass – Lao Xa Village – Dong Van

    Heaven’s Gate is one of the most iconic viewpoints in Ha Giang, located at an altitude of around 1,500 meters above sea level in Quan Ba District. It marks the entrance to the stunning Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark and offers panoramic views of the surrounding limestone mountains, winding roads, and deep valleys below.

    As you reach Heaven’s Gate, you’ll feel like you’re standing above the clouds—especially in the early morning when the mist rolls through the valleys. This spot is also a great place to see the contrast between the rugged highlands and the fertile lowlands of Ha Giang.

    The Twin Mountains of Quan Ba, also known as the Fairy Bosom Mountains ( Nui Doi Co Tien in Vietnamese ) , are one of the most famous natural landmarks (Núi Đôi Cô Tiên in Vietnamese), are one of the most famous natural landmarks in Ha Giang Province. Located in Quan Ba District, just a few kilometers past Heaven’s Gate, these two perfectly rounded hills sit side by side in the middle of a lush valley, surrounded by rice terraces and ethnic minority villages.

    What makes the Twin Mountains so unique is their striking symmetrical shape, which resembles a woman’s breasts—hence the local nickname, “Fairy Bosom.” They are considered a natural wonder, formed through millions of years of geological changes in the limestone landscape of the Dong Van Karst Plateau.along the road going to yen minh have lunch .after lunch go ahead to lao sang village and visit hmong culture blacksmith .bracelet and necklace of silver ,lacols musical instrument (Qeej), after visit hmong family take motorbike going to hmong  king’s palace .after palace go to homestay in Dong Van

    Day 2: Dong Van – Ma Pi Leng Pass – Meo Vac – M-shaped Curve – Mau Due – Ngoc Long – Du Gia (Motorbike & Trekking)

    We begin the day by riding through one of the most iconic routes in Vietnam—the legendary Ma Pi Leng Pass. Recognized as one of the “Four Great Passes of Vietnam,” Ma Pi Leng rises between 1,200 and 1,400 meters above sea level, offering breathtaking views over the emerald Nho Que River and dramatic limestone cliffs. Riding along this winding road carved into the mountainside is both thrilling and unforgettable.

    After crossing the pass, we’ll take about 1.5 hours to hike from the Young Volunteers Monument, trekking along Death Cliff and White Cliff all the way to the famous Panorama viewpoint. This hike gives you a chance to experience the landscape on foot and get a closer look at the lives of the local H’mong people who inhabit these remote mountain areas.

    From Panorama, we hop back on the motorbikes and continue the ride through Meo Vac, following the road toward Mau Due. Along the way, we’ll pass the fascinating M-shaped Curve, a winding stretch of road that offers fantastic photo opportunities with layers of karst mountains in the background. We’ll stop for lunch in Mau Due and take a short rest before continuing.

    In the afternoon, we ride to Ngoc Long, a peaceful riverside area where we’ll enjoy a bamboo raft ride along a calm stretch of river. There’s also a chance to explore a nearby cave and even take a swim if the weather is warm. We’ll spend about an hour here enjoying nature and relaxing.

    After that, we continue our journey to the quiet and scenic Du Gia Village, home to the Tay ethnic minority. Upon arrival, we’ll check into a traditional Tay homestay, then head out for a refreshing visit to the nearby Du Gia waterfall, where you can swim or simply relax in the cool, clear water. We’ll spend 30 minutes to 1 hour at the falls before heading back to the homestay for dinner and rest.

    Day 3: Du Gia – Duong Thuong – Thai An – Thuan Hoa – Ha Giang

    We start the day early with breakfast, then begin our journey back to Ha Giang. On the way, we pass through the beautiful Duong Thuong valley, with a short stop at a scenic viewpoint to rest and take in the views.

    Next, we head to Thai An for lunch. After lunch, we continue to Lung Pu waterfall. From there, it’s a short 10-minute walk uphill to reach the waterfall, where you can swim and enjoy the fresh mountain air.

    After spending some relaxing time at the waterfall, we continue the scenic drive along the winding roads back to Ha Giang.

    I did the loop of Ha Giang with Pe solo in easyrider over 3 days.
    I had a great time, Pe is an excellent driver and he doesn’t hesitate to take little less touristy paths with great scenery. I felt really safe on his bike, you can go quietly, he doesn’t drive too fast, so you have time to enjoy. And it feels good to get away from the big bands that do the loop sometimes.
    We made visits to villages to discover some of the culture of the area, a trek of almost 7km on the second day in the middle of the mountain with views of the river, a short walk to a cave on a bamboo raft, and we saw several waterfalls and views. It was really very complete.
    The homestays where we slept were very nice and allowed to discover even more the H’mong culture.
    As for Pe, my guide, he is himself H’mong (from Sapa) and he was really adorable all over the loop. Even if he starts freelance, he’s done the loop quite a few times and knows the area perfectly. He speaks very good English and learns French, so we were able to exchange a lot. It was really nice, I was sad when it ended, so I highly recommend Ha Giang Hmong Trip!
