Ha Giang Hmong Trip is a local team of expert guides, made up of members of ethnic minority groups including the Black H’mong, Green H’mong, and Dao people, all based in the breathtaking northern highlands of Ha Giang, Vietnam. We are incredibly proud to share our vibrant culture, diverse ecology, and stunning landscapes—not just for today, but to preserve and pass them on for generations to come.

Our tours focus on exploring the peaceful, authentic side of Ha Giang. The region is full of cultural richness, from traditional farming practices and house-building techniques to the art of indigo dyeing and batik-making by H’mong women, each unique to our tribal communities. Our guides have strong mountain experience and deep knowledge of the local customs, terrain, and way of life.

At Ha Giang Hmong Trip, we are proud to offer a variety of motorbike and nature tours, with authentic homestay experiences that highlight the southern portion of the famous Ha Giang Loop. Whether by motorbike or jeep, this loop is one of Vietnam’s most iconic travel routes, running close to the border with China.

As children, we didn’t attend school—instead, we followed our parents to work in the cornfields. We didn’t speak any foreign languages. But thanks to kind and curious travelers who came to visit our mountains, we began to learn and grow. Some of us now speak a bit of English, and we are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to connect and learn through tourism. Growing up here has given us deep roots in the land and the ability to guide you to hidden places that many larger tour companies may never know about.

During your journey, you’ll often stay in local homestays with families from the H’mong, Tay, and Dao communities. It’s a unique chance to experience the culture and lifestyle of the people who call these mountains home.
